privacy policyfor yovale
Please read carefully. This Yovale Privacy Policy, referred to here as the Terms, Terms of Service, or Agreement, contains the terms and conditions that govern our service, our platform, and the use of https://yovale.com. It explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we disclose it, and how we protect it.
This policy covers the information we collect through our website and related mobile and tablet services, what we do with it, and the operational limits we place on ourselves.
General information we collect
This policy describes the types of information we collect through our website and related mobile and tablet applications, and what we do with that information.
How Yovale uses your information
Yovale uses collected information to provide safe and optimized access to the website and services, improve how the services work and look, reduce abuse, and communicate service changes.
Disclosure of your information
As a rule, we do not share your personal information outside the company and we do not sell it. The policy allows disclosure only in limited situations.
Data storage and security
The policy gives concrete detail on infrastructure vendors, backups, transmission security, breach notices, and service recovery windows. These are the main operational points.
Legal & safety
These are the remaining policy sections, including administrative email, phishing, children’s privacy, government authority, log information, and policy updates.
Sometimes we send administrative emails about account or service changes, or about new policies.
We will not email you to ask for your password or other account information. If you receive such an email, please forward it to us immediately.
As a rule, we do not share your personal information outside the company and we do not sell your personal information.
We may share your personal information with third parties only in limited circumstances, including with your consent, to a vendor or partner that meets our data protection standards, or when we have a good-faith belief it is required by law.
If we are going to share your information in response to legal process, we will give you advance notice so you can challenge it unless we are prohibited from doing so by law or court order. We will object to requests we believe are improper.
Yovale uses third-party vendors and hosting partners such as Amazon, Heroku, and Google Cloud for the hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology needed to run Yovale.
We keep backup instances of website data in case of server or data-center failure, but data retention time differs from case to case and according to your premium plan.
We use encryption such as HTTPS and TLS to protect data transmitted to and from our site. However, no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee security. You use the service at your own risk and remain responsible for reasonable account security measures.
More secure authentication such as OTP and authenticator-based login is planned for an upcoming Yovale release.
Once we receive your transmission, we make reasonable efforts to ensure security on our systems. We use secure server software and firewalls to protect personally identifiable information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
If Yovale learns of a security-systems breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically, post a notice on the website, or email you using the address associated with your account. To request written notice, contact security@yovale.com.
In case of such security breaches, we may take Yovale systems down for a few hours to restore services. We always keep a backup of website data, but it can still take a few hours to bring a website back online.
We do not and will not request your credit card information, Yovale username, login password, or national identification numbers in a non-secure or unsolicited email or telephone communication.
We can access your account using ADMIN MODE. During technical issues we may ask for your username and password to check the issue from your side, but in that case we communicate only through official company email addresses in the format employee-name@yovale.com.
Identity theft and phishing are serious concerns. Safeguarding information that helps protect you from identity theft is a priority for Yovale.
Our website and services are not intended for use by persons under 13 years of age. Consistent with COPPA, we do not knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under 13.
If we learn we have collected or received personally identifiable information from a child under 13, we will immediately delete that information. If you believe we might have such information, contact support@yovale.com.
Yovale uses the information it collects from users to provide safe and optimized access to the website and services. We may use your email address, without further consent, for non-marketing or administrative purposes such as notifying you of major website updates.
Yovale may use collected information to understand usage trends and preferences, to improve the way the services work and look, to improve marketing and promotional efforts, and to create new features and functionality.
Yovale may use automatically collected information and cookie information to remember your preferences so you do not need to re-enter some information during your visit or next use of the website or services.
Yovale will not use your email address or other personally identifiable information to send promotional or marketing messages without your consent except where you explicitly opt in.
When you visit our website, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. This can include IP address, date and time, browser type, and the domain from which you are visiting.
For most users connecting through an internet service provider, the IP address changes each time they log on. We do not use this information to identify you personally. We use it to analyze usage trends, administer the website and service, and support technical maintenance.
As with other legal contracts, our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy may be amended, terminated, or modified without your consent by judicial proceeding, court order, bankruptcy or insolvency process, or other government action.
When reasonable and lawful, we will notify you if this occurs.
Yovale may periodically update this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy from time to time to stay informed about how we protect the information we collect.
Your continued use of the service constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy and any updates to it.
