questions before you switch hosts for Amplitude.
Why use Browser SDK 2 over the legacy SDK?
Browser SDK 2 is smaller, has better autocapture, and is what Amplitude's docs recommend for new installs. Yovale always loads the current SDK version.
Can I track custom events on top of autocapture?
Yes. Once the SDK is loaded you can call `amplitude.track('event_name', props)` from any client-side code. Autocapture handles the basics; custom track() handles your business events.
Does Amplitude respect EU consent?
Yovale gates the SDK behind the analytics consent signal. If the visitor declined analytics cookies, Amplitude doesn't load. Amplitude's own GDPR controls layer on top.
Can I run Amplitude with GA4?
Yes. Many product teams keep GA4 for marketing/SEO and Amplitude for product/cohort work. Both ship from the same Yovale tracking panel.
Will the page cache strip Amplitude?
No. The snippet is part of the cached HTML. Event ingestion happens client-side via the SDK.
